hi all!
i just recognized of the new 'devious folder' feature on deviantart and started cleaning up my gallery. i didn't find the 'scraps' anymore, then i guess nowadays you 'just' have to choose wether to 'feature' a deviation or not. anyway, i have reduced by far the number of deviations you'll find in my gallery folders and the number of featured deviations, so that the many photos i don't expecially like (anymore) won't bother you when you watch my gallery. i hope this will make you check my gallery more often than in the past

by the way, i'm very next to an average of 100 views per deviation: thanks to all of you that made this possible. i hope to improve my photo quality in the future, so that you'll have more fun watching my deviations...

my website, www.giannirondinini.com, is slowly growing up. my blog doesn't contain many entries, however i try to upload quite some photos as often as i can. i can have a better template and look in my website, then i'd really appreciate if you had a look at it sometimes.

this week at my photoclub we had our annual photo contest. i'm really glad i won the second prize: it was a great satisfaction between i had some interesting (but not outstanding, in my opinion) images (and i won an important prize even if i wasn't *so* happy of 'em) and because the first prize went to a *wonderful* macro of a butterfly (called 'macaone' in italian - Papilio machaon Linnaeus) 'eating' on a purple flower. thanks for the compliments, in advance

for all of you living in faenza or surrounding areas, the photos admitted to our photo contest will be shown in the 'pronto soccorso' from next tuesday until 6th of january. we'd appreciate if you had a look at them
